Function #2: Secure payments

What this means:

Carriers: Create payment requests and send them to shippers, shippers, or manufacturers. Get paid after delivery confirmation.
Shippers: Receive and pay the payment requests sent by verified carriers. Send payment requests to your own customers.
All payments processed securely via Stripe Connect with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.

Payment workflows (you choose):

How the money moves

You, the shipper: choose how the freight is paid, in full before dispatch, held at booking and captured on delivery, or a deposit now and the balance after the CMR is signed.

The carrier: sees those terms on the shipment before accepting it, so the money moves on the agreed dates rather than on an invoice sent afterwards. Every step is recorded against the shipment.
